Raspiblitz slow sync performance

I'm syncing my raspberry pi 4 model B, 4GB and after 4 days I'm less than 50% synced. It seems as though there is something wrong with bitcoind as there are some weird symptoms going on. The pi is running raspiblitz 1.7RC2 (64bit). I have 400mbps internet and it's connected to a new 1TB sandisk ssd. First I looked at the debug.log file (sudo tail -f /mnt/hdd/bitcoin/debug.log) When bitoind is first started up I see blocks being added at a rate of several per second. After letting it run for awhile it slows down to one block every few seconds.…

Function combinerawtransaction is not working

I have multiple partially signed transactions that I want to combine into one transaction. All those transactions were signed using the same key so it should be possible to combine all those partial signed into one combined transaction that can be signed and broadcasted at once using one key. According with bitcoin's rpc function combinerawtransaction is the proper to be used in my case but that function is not working because instead of combining all partial signed transaction into one is returning only the first partial signed transaction (it does not matter the order of the array, it will return…

Can satoshi nakamoto change bitcoin

If I understand correctly, Satoshi Nakamoto (or any cryptocurrency creator) can change things in Bitcoin, like supply limit, halving, etc. My question is: How is Bitcoin decentralized if Satoshi Nakamoto can change anything in Bitcoin protocol? What if suddenly Satoshi Nakamoto changes Bitcoin so miners receive 100 times more rewards. How can I, as a Bitcoin user, prevent this to happen?

Why universities and colleges don’t accept Dogecoin donation?

I just tried to contact the top universities in the USA and other countries. i also contacted the charity organizations such as Red cross and united way, etc. but no response at all. seems they don't care the donation of crypto currency like Dogecoin as the price is too low? The fact is that most of us are ordinary people who can't donate millions like those billionaires. but we do can donate 10k dogecoin or 1 million dogecoin instead. we also wanna show our support to the chariting causes to make the world better. Yes, they may want BTC as…

Where can I find a high performance search capabilities in a Bitcoin node implementation?

Where can I find a Bitcoin node implementation, which is capable of thousands of searches per minute, without degrading performance of the node? I am aware of two Bitcoin node implementations. Bitcoin Core Bitcoin Ops btcd I am looking for a BTC node implementation, which implements higher performance search capabilities, so I can search using syntax similar in capabiilty to SQL. I understand why LevelDB was chosen in the Bitcoin Core implementation (not sure what is used in the btcd implementation), but search performance does not stand up to my use case of executing thousands of searches (using bloom filters)…

TransactionId Not working Second Time in NBitcoin and QBitNinja?

I am trying to send bitcon from my address to another address. i had 0.0024BTC in my wallet and then i performed a transfer using this article: https://programmingblockchain.gitbook.io/programmingblockchain/bitcoin_transfer/spend_your_coin#sign-your-transaction The Transfer was success. I was happy. Now i again tried to perform another transaction. Since i still have unspent amount in that transactionId so i used the same TransactionId this time as well. I got success response along with hash in the code but when i went to explorer i cannot find another transaction there is only one transaction. Should i use different transactionId or is this anything i missed. Please…

Not able to connect to bitcoind on mac mini

I'm running Bisq v1.6.1 on a iMac and that works fine using "use provided bitcoin Core nodes" I also running a bitcoin core node on a mac Mini in the same local network on address 192.168.0.70 Putting this address in "Use custom Bitcoin Core nodes" and also checking this radio button does not work. The "Bitcoin network peers" stays at 0 The network in itself is working, as I can connect to the mini using the remote desktop I found out that this issue is due to the fact that ports 8333 and 8332 are closed on the mac mini.…

Proof of liabilities

TransparentExchange implements a Merkle Tree based protocol to prove an upper bound on its total deposits. (Combined with a proof of reserve, this proves that the exchange is solvent.) Every customer is assigned a leaf node containing an ID which is the hash of her username and a value which is her BTC balance. The protocol specifies that TransparentExchange should propagate IDs and values up the tree by the following recursive definition — for any internal node: node.value = node.left_child.value + node.right_child.value node.id = Hash(node.left_child.id ‖ node.right_child.id ‖ node.value) The exchange publishes the root ID and value, and promises to…

Possible To –enable-wallet After Syncronization With Blockahin?

I am running bitcoind from the command line (--without-gui) and my system apparently does not have the correct Berkley DB version (4.8+). Therefore, I chose to run the program without the wallet enabled (--disable-wallet) so that Berkley DB would not be required. What I am now wondering however, is if I sync the entire blockchain (300GB+) and at some point want to --enable-wallet, will I be able to do so without any incompatibility issues? Furthermore, how can I update to the correct version of Berkley DB (4.8+) so that I can --enable-wallet. I already ran the script $home/bitcoin/contrib/install_db4.sh which did…

Setting up lightning with bitcoin-core

I have some questions about bitcoin-core and lightning-network-daemon. I have succesfully set up a bitcoin node running on Ubuntu Server 20.04 by following this tutorial: https://bitcoin.org/en/full-node. This is my node: https://bitnodes.io/nodes/81.166.125.218-8333/ I am planning on installing lnd using bitcoind as the backend, by following this tutorial: https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/blob/master/docs/INSTALL.md In this regard, I have the following questions: What is the relationship between my bitcoin-core wallet and the lnd wallet? What fee should I set to make my lnd node as profitable as possible? What other recommendations can you give to help out a bitcoin- and lnd-noob like me? Thanks in advance for…

Is it possible to forward signed transaction using bitcoind prune mode?

Summary: Is it possible to perform createrawtranscation , signrawtransaction and sendrawtransaction rpc call using bitcoin in prune mode? Detail : I want to implement an API that performs p2p BTC transfer, and for this purpose, I don't want to run a full node in my AWS server as I have to buy extra space for this. I was exploring third-party applications but all of them are out of my budget. So I was curious if I could run prune mode BTC core to perform above mention RPC call? I would be very thankful if you guys can give some advice…
